One thing about Jeff is that he never stops making me laugh, even when I want to be mad I can't because he is always joking around and I love that about him.

My two boys asleep on the couch. Rusty likes to sneak up when Jeff falls asleep, most of the time it was with me but now we don't let him on the couch because he is getting way too big and we don't want him to ruin the leather.

He woke up and caught me taking pictures of them, lol. He hates pictures, it is like pulling teeth to get any of him. The other night at our ward party they had everyone get pictures as couples like high school dance photos and that was so funny, he tried to bail out of line but he couldn't escape from me. haha

Can you believe how long my hair is getting? I am really starting to like it now that it is getting longer and not to mention my hubby loves it.

So much has happened since I last posted so I will catch you up on some of the events in the last few months....

I stopped working for others and started helping Jeff with our business and I am loving it. At first it was hard to get used to because I have been used to working full time since I was 16 but now I love that I can go to the movies in the middle of the day with friends and not feel bad. lol

I turned the big 25 and had a great birthday. My friend took me to lunch and then I spent the rest of the day with my hubby.

Jeff and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary this month. I honestly can't even believe it has been that long! We had a really nice night, he surprised me by taking me to a new restaurant that he found called Modern Steak and it was amazing! I am making him take me back for valentines day tonight.

Can I just say how much I loved Dear John. Me and Ashley went and saw it opening night then I was invited to go see it again with Jackie and Jasmine and of course I couldn't pass up another opportunity to see Channing Tatum!

We attended our 1st ward party and had a really good time. They played the newlywed game with some of the ward members which was sure to be a good time with lots of laughs.

Jeff is going to be turning 27 next month so we are planning a trip to either Utah or Vegas to combine my birthday, his birthday, and our anniversary into one fun field trip with some friends and I can't wait to get away for a nice vacation! I promise to take some pictures so I finally have something to post!

New Job!!

For those of you who don't know I started my new job last week on Monday. I had quit working for my parents the beginning of March and did not have plans to go back to work because I wanted to concentrate on getting pregnant and also helping my husband with his company but I soon became very very bored staying at home and one day I received a call from an electrician that I had become familiar with while working at Mesa Lighting, he is starting a retail store and offered me a job running it. I met with him the next day and I started work a few days later! I am so excited and can't wait until we open the doors!

So everything has been going really good we have been patching, sanding, painting and so on to get the place ready to open because it is in really bad condition, for those of you that knew where Crismon Flowers used to be on Power and Main, that is our new store, and it is a house that was built in the 40's I believe so we had a lot of work cut out for us but it is looking so good!

Well on Friday me and the owners daughter, Tori, were painting and she decided we should open the front door to let some air in, well I gave her my keys and a few seconds later I heard her call my name to come help her open the door because she said it was stuck, we had the floors refinished and the door had been getting stuck ever since, well I came in from the other room to see if I could help! I tried to push on the door and it wouldn't budge so I turned to the side and gave a little push with my butt and the next thing I knew I heard a crack!! Sure enough my butt had busted the glass on the door!! We could not believe our eyes, I thought "so much for my job"!! Well I got right on the phone and started calling companies to get an estimate on the cost of the glass, over $300 and it would take 3-7 days, of course we are supposed to be opening on Tuesday!! I called my boss and told him the cost and I started to cry because I felt so bad, luckily he is such a nice guy and made a joke about it but I still feel terrible!!

So sorry to everyone who has had to bug me for months to update, sometimes I just feel like since I don't have kids that my life isn't worth blogging about.

Well I will give you a run through of the last couple of months at the Arnett house!

December, had a really good Christmas and hung out with some friends on New Years eve and had a blast! Went to the doctor to try and get this baby situation figured out and haven't had a chance since to get my blood work done, we have been short handed and crazy at work lately since the market took a plunge! I had to let go of several employees which of course caused my stress levels to go through the roof! It is no fun having to tell someone with a family that they have to go!

January, had my birthday, got to see one of my good friends sweet little baby girl who was down visiting, hung out with some friends for dinner and a movie, then I was really sick for a week or so and that about wraps it up.

February, today is our fourth anniversary!! YEAH! Unfortunately I am sitting here blogging while my husband is at school ( I am really proud of him, he is working full time and taking five classes so I can't complain too much). We are going out of town for four days so I promise to try and take pictures and update in a reasonable amount of time!!!

My Grandpa Bill......

Well it is 5 in the morning and I just got the news an hour ago that turned my world upside down, the call you always hope never comes, but unfortunetately today I was awaken by a call from my mom letting me know my grandpa riggs had passed away. He had fallen out of his wheel chair two days ago while in the garden and had broken his neck, we had no idea that would lead to his passing. My grandfather was a humble, loving husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa. He was dedicated to serving the Lord every chance he could. I am so thankful that I was able to spend some of his birthday with him the other day, I hope he knows how much myself and my husband appreciate him and love him.

I couldn't bring myself to post this yesterday because I couldn't stop crying.

Here is the obituary in the paper:

William A. (Bill) Riggs
Riggs, William A. (Bill) 82, of Mesa, AZ passed away October 24, 2008 in Phoenix. He was born on October 20, 1928 in Durango, CO to Henry Sears and Bessie Riggs. He graduated from Mesa High School in 1947. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed work as a farmer, growing melons and cotton and working with cattle. Bill was employed by Cardon Oil and LeSueur Ginning Co. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved attending the Temple and singing in the church choir. Bill enjoyed gardening and had a love for animals. We cherished the time we spent together and we will greatly miss our husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dail Riggs; and sisters: Vonnie Smith and Roberta Clark. Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Norma Riggs; children: Sandra Leonard (Richard), Kent Riggs (Terri), Craig Riggs (Vicki) and Scott Riggs (Cyndy), all of Mesa; brother, Thomas Riggs, of Mesa; 20 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday October 27, 2008 from 6-8:00 PM at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald in Mesa. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 28, 2008 at 10:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior at the LDS Church building, 1852 N. Stapley Dr. in Mesa. Interment will follow at the City of Mesa Cemetery.

My Sweet Husband!!

My cute husband decided to take me to this nice restaurant called The Compass in Phoenix. He has always driven by it but never been to eat there. It is on top of a hotel and it spins while you eat dinner, it was so amazing! We had a really nice time.

I was trying to take a picture of the view outside but I had my flash on so when I took the picture the reflection from the glass got this awesome shot of my hot husband instead!! I thought it was pretty good for not trying!

It was only fair that I had to get a photo by myself too! This way he wasn't so embarrassed.

Look at my steak, it was the best meal I have ever had, it was definitely worth the money!

If the steak wasn't good enough, look at our dessert, my mouth is watering just looking at the picture again.

One of the employees saw me trying to take our picture with my timer so he graciously offered to snap a shot of us, finally!

It was an amazing dinner and a great experience, I love spending time with my husband, we always seem to have so much fun!

Jeff's friend works for a motor home company and whenever someone buys one, Andrew drives the motor home to its new owner, this one happened to be in Pennsylvania. Jeff thought it would be fun to go on the trip with his friend and off they went. They left Wednesday night and got there Saturday, they went through ten different states and got to see some neat sites. I was so jealous, that would be a fun adventure someday to do. Jeff is set on buying a nice motor home now, I told him one day when we have "extra" money he could!

Another disappointment

Well today I officially found out that I had my second miscarriage. I was hoping this time would be better then last time. My doctor said next time I test positive on a test I have to go in to see him so they can do some blood work and all that other dreadful stuff. We just have to look at it as a blessing and hope and pray when the time is right it will happen.

I think back to when me and Jeff were first married and the topic of having kids came up and he said in his joking manner, "we are waiting 5 years to have kids" and I said dream on buddy. We joked about it for a long time and now we have been married for almost 3 1/2 years and by the next time I get pregnant again we might almost be at that 5 year mark. Dang how time goes so fast.

My sister Angela text me to see how things went at the doctor, after I told her the news she asked if there was anything she could do, I responded with, I might need to come see my nieces so they can make me feel better. Her two kids can brighten up my day no matter what especially Kadence because she actually gets excited to see me and says my name and tells me she loves me, on the other hand Addiysn sits there and smiles at you when you talk to her and it makes you feel so good to see her smile.

So this month has been crazy but to top it off my dog got bite by a brown recluse spider and had to go in for surgery the day after memorial day, let me just say, I am so glad it got my dog and not me or my husband. Have you ever seen what those do to you? It is so gross. The other bad thing is that my dog is inside most all the time so it is most likely that he got bite in our house!! I couldn't even sleep when I found out what had bite him, can you blame me?

Today was a good day, I went to my parents ward, because my husband is out of town, and it was good to see a lot of people from when I was growing up. My brother surprised my mom by blessing the sacrament today, for those of you who don't know he had gone away from the church for a while and it is a miracle to see how far he has come. My brother is going to baptize his girlfriend Meghan this coming Saturday, which is really exciting for everybody.

So me and Lesli were going to go walking at Red Mountain Park so we decided to meet at the Park so we could go our separate ways when we were done. I get almost to the park when I get a call saying she is on Brown between Recker and Higley and she has run out of gas.....of course she was sticking way out into the lane so everyone had to go around her, so I turn around and go to find her, it wasn't hard to miss her white Tahoe. So I decide to stop my car and get out so we could start pushing, we thought to ourselves, there is no good people left, no one stopped to help when all the sudden a couple of guys come up and helped us get to a side street. We were in our running clothes on brown trying to push a freaking Tahoe by ourselves, how funny would that be to have seen. Thanks to those nice guys that helped us we didn't end up road kill. Needless to say after her husband brought her gas we went on our way and still worked out. It was definitely embarrassing and funny at the same time.

I am so excited the time finally came that I became Manager at my work. I have been working really hard to get to this point and it paid off. It is a lot of work but I am ready for the task at hand. Three years already......

Well today is our three year anniversary, time has flown by so fast. A lot has happened in these first three years, some good and some not so good, how come nobody told me marraige wasn't always easy!!! haha Well unfortunetely we got some not so good news today, my husband has had a back condition since we got married that was caused from a terrible car accident and things have been really bad lately and today he got news from the doctor that he had ruptured his disc which is fixed by an open back surgery that would put him out of work for quite a while. All we can do is keep on going and try to not let it get us down. We are so thankful to have what we do and more importantely to have each other.

I have been having the hardest time finding a battery or a new charger for my camera. I lost the charger in the move and my battery has been dead for months, so I have been on the hunt and I finally found both on-line. I guess after 2 years they change the product around so you can't get replacements...go figure! The guy at batteries plus told me they do that so you have to buy a whole new camera.... mine is only 2 years old so I wasn't about to give up. All the pictures I have been using are from my moms computer and she doesn't have a whole lot of us. I should be getting my stuff soon so I will be able to post some pics. of us and our home...yeah!

We went and had pictures taken for our gift to Jeff's parents. I thought for sure that one of us would slip and tell them about our surprise, we even all showed up at their house right after pictures, matching, and they never caught on. They were completely surprised.

Right before this picture was taken, Braden waited until we all sat down and then yelled "SNAKE", you should have seen how fast everyone jumped off those rocks. He got a huge kick out of messing with us. Luckily my mother-in-law didn't hear Ellie telling her this story when we got home. We thought our surprise was going to be ruined for sure.

We had to try this shot many times to catch it just right, we had a blast and laughed a lot.

This Christmas was so much fun, it is by far my favorite time of the year. We had a blast hanging out with our families. It is so fun to see the excitement in the eyes of his little brothers and sister. It reminds me when I was a kid and I could never sleep on Christmas Eve, I was always the first one in the room and the first to wake everyone up in the morning, my parents would try to make me go back to bed but I was far too excited.

At my husbands family party they put on a video from 1991 which had all his aunts and uncles families opening gifts, it was so much fun to watch.

Although this is my favorite time it was a little crazy this year, of course 3 days before Christmas our refrigerator broke and it cost so much to repair it, that put a damper on our Christmas spending. I guess that all comes with owning a home, those lovely unexpected expenses at the wrong time!!

Hopefully everyone had a great Christmas and we hope you have a Happy New Year. Time to make some New Years resolutions! I know I have lots on my list.

Kadence hated Santa last night but she loved the little baby he gave her. I love my little neice, just being around her makes me smile. She is so sweet. She is getting so big so fast. I just thought this was a cute picture of her. Her little sister should be arriving any day, we are looking forward to it so we can love and spoil another baby.

Ok, so my little niece absolutely loves this cute little hamster, she calls him "hammy". I decided I would get her out of the cage so it could run around on my little sis' bed, as soon as I stuck my hand in the cage it jumped up and bite me so hard on my finger I couldn't believe how bad it hurt. My niece just laughed as the hamster went flying onto the floor because it was latched onto my finger. Nobody can pick this thing up anymore, it is so funny.

I just realized how long it has been since I last posted. Things have been so crazy and busy for us that I have not had a chance to do anything. My Camera is dead and the charger must have been misplaced in the move so I can't get any pictures off of it. I am going to buy a new charger so I can get some updated photos on here. Well my sister is going to be have her baby any time now, we are so excited. Christmas is coming so fast, I cant believe it. I am so excited, this is the best time of year. We just bought our first real tree, my husband really wanted a real one because he loves the smell of them. I started decorating it yesterday and it is so much fun. One of my dogs won't stay away from it, hopefully he doesn't eat my decorations I am putting on it. Well hopefully I will have some new pictures coming soon.

We got off the ship in Canada, it was awesome. The people were very friendly and I loved their accents.

This is us eating dinner, the food was incredible! You have to dress up when you go to the dining rooms so it was very fun.

This is my little neice Kadence. She is the only neice so far, you can only imagine how spoiled she is by everyone! Her mom is having another little girl that is due on Christmas eve so we will have another one to love and spoil.

She loves getting into my moms scrapbooking stuff!
